The material selection for copper alloy processed products mainly depends on the specific application scenario, mechanical properties and chemical properties. The following are some common copper alloy materials and their applicable scenarios:
High-strength brass: This is the most commonly used copper alloy matrix material in graphite copper sleeves, with a wide range of applications and high economy. According to the chemical composition and casting process, high-strength brass can be divided into ordinary type, high-hardness type and extra-high-hardness type. The ordinary type is suitable for high temperature, high load, low speed and heavy load occasions, such as metallurgical continuous casting machines, train brackets, rolling equipment, etc.; the high-hardness type improves the matrix hardness on the basis of the ordinary type, and is suitable for continuous casting rolling mills, mining machinery, etc.; the extra-high-hardness type is suitable for occasions with higher requirements for load-bearing capacity and wear resistance, but it should be noted that it should be avoided under large impact loads.
Tin bronze: Such as CuSn6Zn6Pb3 and CuSn5Zn5Pb5, the chemical composition and performance of these two alloys are very similar, and they are suitable for a variety of working conditions. CuSn12 has higher hardness, tensile strength and yield strength, but poor economic efficiency. Tin bronze is suitable for occasions requiring higher hardness and strength.
Aluminum bronze: such as CuAl10Ni5Fe5, has higher hardness, yield and tensile strength, especially good corrosion resistance, suitable for corrosive environments such as seawater and salt spray. CuAl10Fe3 has similar performance, slightly higher economic efficiency, and is suitable for general working conditions.
Other copper alloys: such as ZCuZn24Al6, have high strength, high hardness, self-lubricating properties and corrosion resistance, suitable for machinery, automobiles, metallurgy, chemical industry and other industries.
