The principles of steel processing products mainly include two main methods: cold rolling and hot rolling, as well as other processing methods such as cold drawing, cold bending and cold extrusion.
Cold rolling and hot rolling
Cold rolling: Cold rolling is a processing method performed below the recrystallization temperature, mainly used to produce cold-rolled steel. Cold rolling can improve the mechanical properties of steel, with high dimensional accuracy, good workpiece finish and beautiful appearance. Commonly used equipment includes two-roll mills, four-roll reversing mills, multi-roll reversing mills and cold tandem mills.
Hot rolling: Hot rolling is a processing method performed above the recrystallization temperature, mainly used to produce hot-rolled steel. Hot rolling can improve the processing properties of metals and has high production efficiency, but the dimensional accuracy and surface quality are relatively low.
